Snack Calendar

The Grand Blanc School Board has adopted two policies that influnce the snacks that can be served in the classroom. Under the Wellness Policy (Board Policy 5144.1), all snacks served in the classroom (daily, birthday, parties, etc.) must be healthy and have nutritional value. Under the Food Allergy Policy (Board Policy 5144.2), no peanut or nut foods can be consumed or distributed in the classroom. This includes daily snacks, birthday treats, and party foods. Please send in 18 packaged snacks on your child's snack day.

Good News--Week of April 9

This week we plan to:

Work with the letter Yy.  Be looking at home for something beginning with a y for Sound Muncher.
Match uppercase and lowercase letters.
Write by using pictures to tell a story.  We will also be working on adding labels to the objects in our pictures.
Practice writing numbers.
